The nine South Vanuatu languages form a branch of the Southern Oceanic languages.

Languages

Erromanga: Sie, Sorung (sometimes considered a dialect of Sie, now extinct), Ifo (Utaha, now extinct), Ura (fewer than ten speakers)
Anejom–Tanna
- Aneityum
- Tanna:
  - Kwamera (South Tanna)
  - Tanna proper: Lenakel (West Tanna), Southwest Tanna, Whitesands (Weasisi, East Tanna)

The position of North Tanna within the Tanna languages is not clear.
